For the referenced projects below Cross Engineers collaborated with the Design Build Electrical Contractors and provided electrical input to the architectural Building 3D model utilizing Bentley or Revit MEP software. Electrical equipment modeling included switchgear, panels, dry-type transformers, light fixtures, light switches, receptacles, communication outlets, floor boxes, fire alarm devices, ceiling speakers, cable tray, conduits (2 ½” diameter and above) installed above finished floor and pull boxes greater than 12” x 12” x 4”.
Conflict resolution was accomplished via design team teleconference meetings reviewing NAVISWORKS Conflict Resolution Program utilizing both Bentley or Revit MEP software. Space and construction conflicts were resolved and 3-D models were updated based on team collaborated resolutions and cost issues.
Cross Engineers, Inc. utilized BIM 3-D modeling on the North Fort Brigade Complex and 600 Man Barracks. Cross engineers responsibilities included the design of the Lighting/Power/Communications/Fire Alarm/Mass Notifications systems required to design and construct site infrastructure (roads, street lights, underground utilities for all Charlie Block), a Barracks Complex to serve 600 soldiers, a large Battalion Headquarters Facility with classrooms, and a small addition to a remote switching facility, all at North Ft. Lewis.
Cross Engineers utilized BIM 3-D modeling on the Army Growth Complex located at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), WA. This project consisted of multiple buildings, three (3) medium Company Operations Facilities, one (1) large Company Operations Facility, three (3) large BNHQ Buildings, one (1) BGHQ Building, Remote Switching Unit (RSU), and electrical site utilities associated with the project.
Cross Engineers provided electrical/communications (core/shell and tenant improvements) design for this 3-story, 45, 000 square foot medical office building consisting of 64 exam rooms, MRI space, CT space, mammogram space, physical therapy areas, staff and conference rooms, patient waiting and welcome areas. Cross Engineers is utilizing Revit MEP 3D modeling.
Cross Engineers provided electrical and communications BIM coordination utilizing Revit MEP 3D modeling of the design drawings during construction for this historic structure on Pacific Avenue repurposed for the University of Washington Tacoma Campus. This is a 3-story classroom building with retail store fronts on the first floor Pacific Avenue side.
Cross Engineers utilized BIM 3D Modeling (Revit MEP) on the Coeur D’Alene Casino Resort located in Worley, Idaho. This 170,000 square foot casino resort consists of offices, kitchen, event pavilion, and a 98 room hotel with spa, fine dining and pub.
